So Erick came over today, right as dad was dropping me off at mom’s. I invited him in to stay for a few minutes to show him my iDog, and I just realized: That was the first time my whole family, all four of us, have been in the same house in over four years.
Even though I really know that my parents hate each other and there will never be any kind of resolution for their dispute, and I know that my dad and my brother have hated each other since my brother’s balls dropped, it was still really nice to have everyone in the same house again. It was for less than five minutes, but it was still really comforting. Just like it was when I was 6 years old.
Sorry, I’m being gay. But forrealz, Matt and Colleen don’t know how lucky they are that their parents get along. When most people divorce, they hate each other and refuse to speak to each other and use their kids as a weapon. But their dad comes over every once in a while and has dinner with us. Their parents get along just fine; probably as well as (if not better than) they did when they were married.
On a lighter note, here’s Rivers Cuomo’s list for 2006
(you’ll have to scroll down once you click the link)
I’m in the mood to piss and moan, as you might conclude from the above, so here is a list of things wrong with me at the moment:
- My ears itch.
- These underwear are riding up.
- This belt is too small.
- My nose is stopped up.
- I have a frog in my froat that causes me to sound like Lindsay Lohan.
- My ribs hurt when I breathe.
- My lips are chapped.
- My knuckles are all crackley.
- My froat hurts.
- My tonsils are swollen.
- I’m tired.
- My legs are furry.
But at least I look really hot today.
So in conclusion, Erick and I made cookies together today for the first time in 13 years, and he said that they tasted like salty nuts.
Did the cookies have salty nuts in them?
im so sorry that i havent read your blog in a few days. i was very pleasantly surprised to discover how much i was mentioned, however. you give good head blog. thanks.

Now Playing: I, Mississippi, You – …
Parents that do not get along suck really badly.
I spent nearly 22 years of my life believing the Waddell family (father included) hated my existence because my mother used to beat me whenever I said I wanted to see my daddy.
Then I realized it was all a lie.
Stupid parents, ruining their kids lives to prove a point to their exspouses.
In other news. I played a lot of piano lately and I learned a Christmas song and that song that Mandy Moore sings in ‘A Walk to Remember.’
I probably won’t remember them by the time I get to a piano again, but it still helped me with piano theory type stuff. w00t.
That and some clothes. Christmas for Davo.
Which is… a lot. I was excited.
In conclusion:
Merry Christmas.
I hope you have a Happy New Year.
Do not forget your someone to kiss at midnight and a bit of the bubbley.
I hear that makes it worthwhile.
It is why I cannot wait ’til the first time I share a New Year’s kiss with someone. w00t.
I should write a song about. :p
